4) Why is it important for Pantages to support Canadian fashion?
The Pantages has some involvement with the arts community and would love to see it continue to grow because this is a market that seems to be so niche in our city. With so much talent and love for fashion in this city, we would love to continue to support these type of events to help build the awareness of Canadian talent. Our hotel also consigns with what the world of fashion has to offer – cutting edge, trend setting and ever changing.

5) Who is your favorite Canadian Fashion Icon and why?
Where do I begin? Growing up “Fashion” was a household name for me and my family, which is exactly I continue to follow and support all the great Canadian talents! I really enjoy David Dixon’s designs –they cater to evening and day looks – feminine, fun and cutting edge. He always seem to nail every season, with looks that works for all. I also can’t forget Mackage and Rudsak – every girl has a weakness and jackets are definitely my soft spot. Their styles takes streamline fashion to a new exciting threshold! Fall is just around the corner and can’t wait to make my next purchase!

6) Who is your favourite up-and-coming Canadian designer and why?
Nothing says a great outfit like a great handbag – which is exactly why GAYA handbags is a guilty pleasure. Their styles range from all sort of sizes and bold colors (which I love) from evening to day wear – the key to my ideal purse is something that I can wear with almost wear with anything! This collection of purses is perfect for all looks!
