Art of Fashion is the only organization in Canada to offer emerging Canadian apparel and accessory designers a platform for showcasing their talent, giving them the opportunities they need to foster their careers.
Without the support available in places like New York, Paris and Milan, it can be a steep uphill battle for Canada’s fashion talent to launch their careers. In 1998, Michelle Planche, CMP, president of Paradigm Events, created Art of Fashion to help offer that support. Driven entirely by the support of volunteers and sponsors, Art of Fashion’s critically-acclaimed events have helped to raise the profile of Canada’s fashion design industry, and helped hundreds of designers get started on their careers.
